Monarch Mountain Set to Start 70th Season Print E-mail

Monarch Mountain, Colo. (Ski Press)-Monarch Mountain will open on the day before Thanksgiving for the 2009-10 season.  The area will have 3 chairlifts; Pioneer, Panorama & Tumbelina in operation.

The area plans to open the Garfield and Breezeway chairs on Saturday. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced runs will be open offering packed powder skiing for all levels of skiers and riders. The Tilt terrain park will be open with new features for this season.
