Aspen, Colo. (Ski Press)-Olympian Daron Rahlves (Sugar Bowl, CA) was treated and released from an Aspen hospital Sunday after crashing in the opening heat of the X Games ski cross.
According to U.S. Ski Team Medical Director Richard Quincy, Rahlves was treated for a hip injury and released. He will return home for further treament and preparation for the Olympics. Both Rahlves and Casey Puckett (Aspen, CO) are preparing for the Feb. 21 Olympic debut of ski cross at Vancouver's Cypress Mountain. |
