Wilton, NY (Mtn Press)-Just in case you were way off the grid for the past week, you may have missed the news that former downhill mountain bike phenom Missy “The Missile” Giove was stopped with 384 lbs. of marijuana and $1 million in cash in upstate Wilton, N.Y. on Tuesday.

While competing, Giove grabbed a record 14 National Off-Road Bicycle Association championships and 11 World Cup wins. She also sported a punk hair-do and rode with a dead piranha around her neck to remind her to be aggressive.
