Geneva, Switzerland (Mtn Press)-Looks like the Mtnpressworld.com team will be making new vacation plans in wake of the news that naked hiking

has been banned in Switzerland.

According to Reuters, “Naked mountain hikers in the Swiss canton of Appenzell-Innerrhoden will in future face on the spot fines of 200 Swiss francs ($170)” if they are caught going au naturel in high alpine.

Apparently the pastime is especially popular among Germans, who like to nude up before they head up, much to the outrage of the folks in the small Swiss town.

“We must protect our children from these immoral habits,” a local Swiss paper quoted Melchior Looser, head of the cantonal justice and police department, as saying.
