Now you can hike in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah and relive history every step of the way. Deer Valley Resort, in conjunction with the Mountain Trails Foundation and the Park City Recreation Advisory Board, recently announced a new series of guided historic hikes this summer. The free tours will be offered on four Sundays, July 20, August 17, September 14 and 21. |

 The nation’s trails can tell a feel-good tale from National Trails Day 2008.
At the 16th annual celebration of National Trails Day, whose theme for the year is “Join Us on the Trail,” a record 1,112 National Trails Day events registered with American Hiking Society for national sanctioning, with attendance reaching nearly 100,000 trail enthusiasts at registered events across the nation. People of all ages participated in hikes, educational programs, bike rides, volunteer repair projects, festivals, paddle trips, trail dedications and more. |
