The first layer is full length; each subsequent layer gets shorter, giving the ski added flex. That construction also gives the ski the guts and durability to survive slamming into metal rails and concrete – just like a skateboard does day after day. Even better, that construction means the Line wastes 60 percent less wood than a standard ski.”
