 Bear Creek Mountain Resort's biggest asset is its proximity to Philadelphia. And with 70% of its terrain geared towards novices and intermediates (in a 30/40 split) urban snow warriors will find user-friendly terrain on which to learn and improve. An annual average of 40" of snow isn't a lot but with 100% snowmaking on the 86 acres and 510 vertical feet of terrain it hardly matters.
