June is Mammoth Mountain's sister area and often considered the "little" sister at that. However, you can get a lot smaller than 2,590 feet of vertical and about 500 acres of terrain. Sure, it doesn't compare with Mammoth's 3,100 foot vertical and 3,500 acres but if you are looking for a good family mountain or a more relaxed day on the slopes, June is worth checking out.
