World Champs. Freeski Tour Time

Park City, Utah (Ski Press)-Mountain Sports International (MSI) is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Freeskiing World Tour (FWT), longest running competitive Big Mountain Freeskiing tour in the history of the sport. The FWT features an unprecedented six stops including a Freeskiing World Tour Qualifier (FWTQ). There will be $20,000 in up for grabs per World Tour stop and over $100,000 total tour payout.
 
Registration for the Telluride and Crested Butte events will begin on NOVEMBER 12, 2008, beginning at 12:00 NOON MST and registration for the Snowbird and Kirkwood events will begin on NOVEMBER 13, 2008, at 12:00 NOON MST.

Bill Briggs Among Hall of Fame Inductees

Ishpeming, Mich. (Ski Press)-The U.S. Ski Team's Liz McIntyre, Nelson Carmichael, and Cary Adgate, along with a man who set the precedent in American ski mountaineering, Bill Briggs, will be inducted to the U.S. National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in April according to Tom West, president.
