on the Food Network, plus other local Comox Valley chefs and cookbook authors who are contributing their time, skills, and secrets to no less than 15 unique cooking classes throughout the day on Saturday.  Classes include everything from sweet to savoury.  You can savour a fragrant tour through exotic India, learn the intricacies of the splendour of enticing Thai cuisine, or discover the wild side of barbecuing with a pancetta-wrapped bison filet stuffed with artisan cheese and served with a cedar plank peach & watercress salad. The multitude of cooking classes will ensure that all discerning tastes are catered to!

This event is a celebration of everything edible and dishes out deliciousness. The festival will start with  a Cocktail Reception on Friday evening. Saturday starts with a Breakfast Brunch followed by chef-hosted cooking classes and finishes with an Alpine-Valley Gala Dinner. Sunday  features a breakfast brunch, wild blueberry walking tours, the Alpine Market Place and Vancouver Island's first Cheese Roll!
