Nestea is hosting three Chill on the Hill events at ski hills across Canada. The first event happens on June 20th at Mont Tremblant, QC; the second event happens July 18th at Glen Eden...

Ski and Snowboard Centre in Milton, ON. The third and final Canadian city will be announced soon.

“We wanted to create an event that would really capture people’s imaginations,” said Wallace Leung, Senior Brand Manager, Tea, Coca Cola Ltd. “The idea of being able to enjoy the snow, hit the beach and see a great band perform for free seemed like a refreshing way to offer a unique and unexpected experience.”

In addition to skiing and boarding, event-goers can hang with pro athletes and attend workshops led by Canadian boarding pro and Olympian, Justin Lamoureux and the first and reigning Olympic Gold Medalist in Snowboardcross (SBX) at the 2006 Olympics, Seth Wescott, from the United States. Canadians can then turn their outdoor appetite from the thrill of the quarter pipe to the hot vibes of the beach and hit the sand for a game of volleyball or Frisbee, or hang poolside and take in the scenery.

No party is complete without great music. After a great day of sun, snow and sand, guests can end the day by rocking out to Montreal’s own Sam Roberts Band at Mont Tremblant.

Bringing snow to the summer is a refreshing possibility that NESTEA® Chill on the Hill is making a reality. Using 300 lb blocks of ice, the blocks will be chipped in to very fine flakes to create snow. The snowmaking process will take approximately two days and will cover the Equilibre hill at Mont Tremblant and create a railslide and quarter pipe snow park.

NESTEA® Chill on the Hill is an interactive event. Canadians can blog about it, share photos and get the latest news at the Chill on the Hill fan group on Facebook. And for the Twitter-savvy, Canadians can converse, follow along or share their thoughts on Twitter using #chillonthehill. Each event will even host an interactiviTEA Lounge with WiFi enabled laptops so Canadians can update their online status and give play-by-play updates on all the fun.
