As for the music, the shows followed one after the other on TELUS stage at Place St-Bernard, creating a thunderous atmosphere in the pedestrian village. Performances included Elektrik Bones, The Planet Smashers, The New Cities and The Respectables during the last week, Dee, Beta, Malajube and Yesterday’s Ring were on stage this weekend. Competitions Throughout the event, numerous sports competitions attracted high-calibre participants and lots of spectators. More than 500 athletes took part in the competitions, and tons of spectators came to Tremblant during these ten days of adrenaline and concerts. After the first weekend, which started off strong with Coca-Cola’s spectacular T4 and Billabong Flaunt it on Saturday, as well as Salomon Jib Academy and Burton Mini-Machine on Sunday, the week went on with the Canadian Snowboard Championship finals and its four competitions; slalom, parallel giant slalom, half-pipe and snowboardcross. Art On the artistic side, the Spin Art Zone gave the public an occasion to discover the work of various artists in addition to be the exhibition spot of the winning photos of SBC Photo Contest and of Live Art from Maxime Archambault, who was painting on snowboard accessories up for a draw. The collage mural and the giant sculpture were also very popular, giving the visitors a chance to leave their mark at the TELUS Spin. Visitors also had the chance to attend trial bike demos at Place des Voyageurs. Personalize your helmet with TELUS On March 28th-29th and April 4th-5th, nearly 700 participants visited the TELUS Freestyle workshop where artists like Zema, FrankLam, Peet Massé and Gaston personalized ski and snowboard helmets.
