In a state becoming increasingly known for its recent measures to decriminalize possession of marijuana, the move surprised some ‘free the weed’ advocates. But a quote from the Summit County Sheriff suggests that it wouldn’t be such an issue if skiers just kept their head waxing to the slopes.

“If you're going to flaunt it in our face and do stupid things while we're on foot patrol, you sometimes get caught,” Sheriff John Minor told the Aspen Times. “This is not uncommon the first few ski days.”
