Freeskier Kristy Exner is bringing her women's freeski camps back to Red Mountain this winter. Her specialty: learning to ski steeps and trees...
What you will do at one of Exner's camps:
Group 1: blue runs - work on technique, learn to ski powder, bumps and trees
Group 2: blue/black runs - work on technique, build confidence and skill to ski black runs better
Group 3: blue/black runs - refine technique, build confidence to ski double blacks
Group 4: black runs - hone in your technique, build confidence to ski double blacks, start jumping off "little" cliffs
Group 5: training specifically for Red Mountain freeride contest early January (includes hucking, straight lining, line choice, what judges want to see, skiing fast and pointing it!)
Exner says high calibre instruction, video, lunch, apres ski both nights and fun gear shwag are included. High-end coaches include Lee Anne Patterson, Laura Ogden, Emily Grady, Veronika Manhall, Susan Medville and Tracey Billet.
